The aim of the Wilton Mens Shed is to :
To promote social inclusion for public benefit through the provision of a facility particularly for, but not exclusively for, men at risk of being socially excluded.
To prevent social exclusion by promoting the opportunity for friendships, social engagement and skill sharing in a safe and enjoyable environment, in which members can meet and carry out creative projects acceptable to the Shed and of their own choosing, individually, jointly and for the benefit of the wider community.
To promote good health and wellbeing to its members through active participation and, from time to time, providing opportunities for relevant health organisations to raise awareness of good health strategies for the benefit of the Shed.

Wellbeing is not just an age thing!
The Wilton Mens Shed is an organisation not just exclusively for the older generation. Our membership spans the ages from 30 yrs old to 80+ yrs old. You must be over 18 to become a member.
Who should join the Wilton Mens Shed?
Our Membership is made up of Builders, Carpenters, Plumbers, Electricians, Soldiers, Mechanical Engineers, Footballers, Sailors, Rugby Players, Airmen, Chess Players, Kite Flyers, Computer Gamers, Veterans, Cricketers, Mayors, Record Collectors, Fathers, Astronomers, Big Kids, Tea slurpers, Stamp Collectors, Bus Drivers, Armature Comedians, Conversationalists, Lego Master Builders, Grandfathers, Book Readers, Cyclists, Bakers, Delivery Drivers, Artists, Scout Leaders, Policemen, Railway Engineers, Story Tellers, Street Performers, Harry Potter Fans, Whistlers, Gardeners, IT Technicians, Accountants, Marmite Lovers and Haters, Snorers, Tap Dancers, Shower Singers, Sport Commentators, Bin Men, Gardeners, newspaper readers and people watchers.
